BOYCOTT CALLS | 26 JANUARY: REPRESSIVE DAY
India’s celebration of “26 January” as Republic Day has no meaning to the People of Manipur (Kangleipak) but a “Repressive Day” and not ‘People’s Day’ to the struggling people of Manipur. It bears no significance to celebrate India’s national day amidst the more than 8 months old India-engineered war in Manipur. The CorCom urges the struggling people of Manipur to cease work, remain indoors boycott India’s Republic Day celebrations and observe the day as “Black Day” by hoisting black flags. The ongoing India’s proxy war in Manipur in collaboration with the ecocide communities has unleashed a reign of terror uprooting all the democratic institutions and mechanisms by advocating regressive policy wherein all the rights of the indigenous peoples have been completely violated. The continued choking of the national and international highways by these ecocide communities and the colonial government of India has turned the economic lifeline of Manipur (Kangleipak) into a “Mafia Syndicate” whereby all the development pathways have been completely halted. Manipur, particularly the ethnic Meitei challenged the then British empire, often
described as “the empire on which the sun never sets”, however, the colonial legacy and policy India inherited from the British to completely wipe out the Manipur Nation continued till today with Indian groomed henchmen. Not only did the British divide Manipur into hills and valleys, but they also leased out the resourceful Kiyampok Lamjao to the neighbouring country for levying an annual tax. In the aftermath, imperialist Jawaharlal Nehru completely transferred the Kiyampok Lamjao to the neighbouring country without taking the mandate of the people of Manipur Kangleipak). Our struggling people must be cautious about the enactment of Article
371-C in 1971 before the crowning of Indian statehood on Manipur in 1972 which created the hill-valley divide in this mountainous region of Western South East Asia (WESEA) called Manipur.
The British imperial policy and the Indian colonial strategy had diminished the territorial area of Manipur umpteenth times, created hill-valley feuds and imprisoned the ethnic Meitei in the Indian colonial political and economic bondage.
Today, India has openly deployed more than 70,000 strong Indian Occupation Forces (IOF) that helped the Anti-Meitei Mercenaries put the Meiteis in a prison-like situation with complete encirclement on all sides. The situation has turned into a Gaza-like phenomenon wherein all the Palestinians are trapped by the Military Syndicate of Israel and the US on land air and sea and willfully commit war crimes of the genocide of Palestinian civilians. This has made suspicious of the involvement of the cahoots of the Israeli Mossad and the Indian military intelligence is undergoing a political and military operation in this region of WESEA under a clandestine joint command.
History has also witnessed the British failed efforts to establish a Crown Colony in
this WESEA Region. The present-day aggression on Manipur is not just a simple war in the regional geopolitical scenario. A close look at the weaponry, logistics support, propaganda warfare and the huge economy of the anti-Manipur forces suggests the covert offensives of India and her some friendly allies. Now, a ‘Coordinated Strategy’ of all the like-minded revolutionary forces in the WESEA region is needed to counter these Indian sinister designs. Non-directional protests, thundering of hooligans like in Hollywood movies and show businesses and making
viral VDOs will not find the solution; rather would it make more human casualties. Daily news of gun attacks, bombs thrown, murder, disappearances, and found killed have made the majority of the population sick peoples. Let us now critically study why we fail to launch a politically strategized war despite having a good number of well-armed national workers. By adopting an iron discipline while building up armed strength, clear ideology and objectives, let us contain the Indian-grown Armed Mafia Community/Groups. Let us unchain ourselves from the Indian zombie traps.
On the other hand, the Indian Occupation Forces have been standing as mere festive onlookers when the Manipur state forces, who are protecting the lives and properties of the civilian populations, are vehemently attacked by the Narco-armed groups. Our people would not develop economically, socially and politically except humming no
hope so long as Manipur remains under Indian colonialism. The relentless killing of civilians by the Kuki mercenaries/terrorists continues as the IOF gives a “Free Hand”. India has become so much anti-Meitei that the Indian Occupation Forces have blatantly tortured students, and women folks, caused electric shocks, used pellet guns and so have become an inhumane, demonic ‘Heartless Force’. Is there any difference between such Indian forces and the Mafia Gang Community? The Manipur State government has been reduced to a puppet government – a Democratic Statue – under the Delhi Bandits. The so-called peoples’ representatives have
become Indian colonial scapegoats and politically living dead stupas. The Coordination Committee (CorCom) has called an 18-hour total shutdown from midnight of 25 January till 6 pm on January 26. We urge our struggling people to boycott the forceful celebration of Indian Republic Day, cease works and remain indoors. Essential services including religious activities, medical, fire services, etc. will be exempted from the purview of the total shutdown.
